Question:Hello. i'm 6 feet tall. is this likely to fit someone my size? also. how noisy is it? thanks.
Answer:Yes it will fit a 6' person no problem. I am 5'10", and my husband is 6', I have longer legs though. It fits both of us just fine. The noise is minimal, and is louder the faster you pedal.
Question:Is electricity required to use this bike?
Answer:No, the bike is all mechanical and doesn't need to be plugged in. It has a simple display which is battery powered.
Question:I'm not familiar with Airdyne bikes, but do they not offer resistance like a recumbent bike? Are you able to go as hard as you'd like on this bike?
Answer:The Airdyne does give an excellent workout! You are able to go as hard as you are able and it does get more difficult the faster you go. It gives an excellent upper body workout when you don't use the peddles. I use it daily along with the treadmill. 30 minutes on the treadmill and 25 minutes on the bike. ( 10 minutes upper body only and 15 minutes combined upper and lower bady.
Question:Has anyone used only the arm part for cardio? How good of a workout did it feel?
Answer:It's a great arm workout, got to love it, so much fun!!
Question:Can you lock out the handles and just pedal without arm movement?
Answer:The handles do not lock but you can fold your arms across your body or leave them at your sides and continue to pedal. There's enough space so the handles aren't in the way.
