Answer: Yes, you can

Question: What are the foundation requirements? We have brick pavers now and assume a small area of bricks are to be removed and concrete placed.
Answer: The explosive bolts are included to help anchored into the ground/concrete. The wind resistance is 65 mph and it will have a better wind resistance performance if you have the posts anchored into the ground. And you don't need to do this if you are not living in a windy place.

Question: will it hold if I hang a hammock from the pillars?
Answer: Would not recommend, but it’s your choice to try.
